Olympian Makes Up A Medal To Soothe The Pain

This is either brilliant or arrogant. We haven’t decided quite yet.
There has been a lot of talk and controversy over this year’s medal recipients for male figure skating. In the end, the judges gave Evan Lysacek of the U.S. the gold medal, while favored to win Evgeni Plushenko received the silver.
Or did he?
Many argue that Evgeni was robbed and that his performance was exceedingly better than Evan’s. It seems Evgeni and his webmasters agree on this point as on his website, where a list of his awarded medals appears, is says that he won the “Platinum” medal at the Vancouver games.
See, he’s being clever. Since platinum is more precious that silver AND gold, he’s awarding himself the medal that doesn’t exist to prove his point that he should have won.
Okay, we made up our mind - arrogant.
You get what you get and you don’t get upset or make up shiz just to make yourself look better. Take your sour grapes and head back to Russia. Maybe when the games come to you in 2014, you’ll have better luck.
And if not, you can just give yourself more fabricated awards.
